This little device helps toprevent that disaster from happening by keeping the chute away from the sheave. It also keeps various lines from getting in there, too. Two 3/32″ tiny holes need to be drilled on the block (easy!) for two very small stainless screws that hold it in place. its the 3.0″ sheave Harken H005.
