This T-bolt style Deck Toggle to Hand Crimp Terminal is designed for use on decks or bulkheads.
Hand Crimp fittings allow one to install liflelines with Johnson hand-crimp tool #53-210. This means fabrication may be done directly on the boat, saving time and eliminating measurement error. Hand Crimp fittings, when installed properly, bring safety and satisfaction to the experienced do-it-yourselfer.
Note: A properly installed hand-crimp fitting will hold 65-70% of the breaking strength of 7×7 cable. While this has proven adequate for lifelines, do not use these fittings for standing rigging or other high-load applications.
