Description

The Orbis Marine Optical /Heat Multisensor Detector is recognized as a good detector for general use but is additionally more sensitive to fast burning, flaming fires – including liquid fires – than optical detectors. They can be readily used instead of optical detectors but should be used as the detector of choice for areas where the fire risk is likely to include heat at an early stage in the development of the fire. The Multisensor detector has two sensors, one for smoke and one for heat with the alarm decision derived from either sensor or combination of both.

High-Temperature Smoke/Heat Detector Kit

Maretron’s High-Temperature Smoke/Heat Detector Kit is an intelligent NMEA 2000® networked solution, designed to alert you of unusually fast rises in temperature or smoke.

This kit contains a smoke/heat detector, auxiliary relay, and sounder that are designed to work in high-temperature marine environments, such as engine rooms. The components in this kit are rated from -25°C (-13°F) to +70°C (158°F). This system is designed to work with a 24 VDC power supply.
