Description

An enlarged selection of bearings, including sizes for shafting up to 10″ in diameter and metric sizes from 20mm through 260mm, as well as flanged, non-metallic (phenolic) shelled, and fluted spiral bearings, are available from Michigan Wheel upon request. Water-based grease is well-applied to the rubber-lined approaches. Seals and oil or oil-based lubrication are not necessary for them. These bearings are advantageous for the environment since the water lubricates them while the vessel is traveling. Abrasion brought on by water-borne particles is resisted by the high-durability rubber liner of the 1-1/4 X 1-3/4 X 5 Bronze – Michigan Wheel Marine (912503).
