Description

An integrated computer chip in automatic bilge pumps cycles the pumps every 2-1/2 minutes. If no water is detected, the pump runs for one second before shutting down. When water is found, automated pumps sense resistance at the impeller and continue to run until the water is removed. There are no float switches required. Spray and rainwater can quickly flood a tiny or open boat, so pumps are used to handle it. 12-volt direct current in sensing mode, power, and current demand is kept to a minimum. All pumps are submersible, free of rust and corrosion, and include an ignition protection system. The built-in strainer base easily comes off for cleaning.
