The “Dual Flex” Marine Engine Mount design offers superior vibration isolation management in three areas of vibratory action (longitudinal, lateral, and vertical). Under typical loads, the mount’s construction provides a soft cushioning effect, but when mount loads grow across the operating range, shear resistance increases fast, resulting in smooth operation with only a small amount of deflection. It is made of heavy-duty aluminum alloy and has a lip built into the top of the casting to withstand the engine’s upward force. It is black-coated to withstand corrosion and includes a long-lasting oil and fuel-resistant elastomer part.
