Description

The Intake Valve enhances the engine airflow and contributes to the overall efficiency and performance of the boat. When air is pulled through the filter, it travels to the intake tube and the throttle to the intake manifold. The manifold then supplies air to the cylinder head ports. The valves open and allow airflow through the combustion chambers where the fuel mixes and burns.

The intake valves play a role in fine-tuning the engine by adding extra torque and contributing to improved fuel consumption or providing extra horsepower and strength at high speeds.
