Series 40 Utility Blocks feature either stainless steel ball bearings or All Purpose acetal sheaves. Ball Bearing Utility Blocks can be used in various rigging systems and applications aboard off-the-beach catamarans and sports boats up to 8m (26′) or control lines on larger yachts. All Purpose Utility Blocks are a great choice for durability and long service life. They feature self-lubricating acetal polymer sheaves that perform equally well with dynamic or static loads, making them a suitable choice for any application from sheets to halyards.

This single block is ideal for high-load applications. Wear-resistant Nylatron® sheave material in lightweight, self-lubricating polymer is suitable for use with rope or wire. Grade 316 stainless steel load strap and head fitting. Impact- and UV-resistant, fiber-reinforced nylon cheeks. Use for halyards, backstay tackle, vang components, or spinnaker control lines on off-the-beach catamarans, one-design classes, or sport boats up to 26′.
