Open Base Cleats help prevent loose halyard ends from running up the mast. Line ends can be inserted through the “open” base and then knotted for an easily grabbed dead end.

This tough cleat is anodized to provide the strength and corrosion resistance you need for years of reliable service. Strong yet lightweight aluminum offers an advantage over easily “burned-out” plastic or heavy stainless designs.
