These Pad Eyes are great for keeping your accessories and carry-ons secure. They feature a higher profile than standard pad eyes and can accept ropes of varying diameters, making them ideal as a deck loop or tie-down for kayaks, roped equipment, and so forth. Corrosion-resistant forged 304 stainless steel construction. Two FH fasteners are necessary for installation (not included). A pad eye is a device that runs a line through or serves as an attachment point on boats or ships. It is a type of fairlead that is frequently bolted or welded to the deck or hull. It’s composed of a steel plate with a rounded edge on one side. Hoisting is performed with the use of a D-shackle or sling that fits into the pad eye hole.
