Sta-lok mechanical swages have so simplified the termination of wire rope that they have become essential equipment for both the amateur and professional riggers. Sta-lok fittings have gained world-wide recognition for high quality and total reliability. Sta-lok terminals are available for 1 x 19, 7 x 7, 7 x 19, compacted and Dyform wire ropes – in a wide range of sizes. The terminals consist of an assembly of four components, which can be fitted on site using very simple hand tools.
• Eyes are designed to suit most chain plates, turnbuckles, and fixing points
• Hand fitted instead of machine swaged
• Stronger than the wire rope
• Reusable – requires a new wedge
• Suitable for both right hand and left hand lay constructions
• Will work under constant load and variable shock loading
• No servicing required, long life and very low maintenance
• All terminals are supplied with 1 X 19 wedges unless specified
• Wedges to convert to 7 X 19, 7 X 7 or Dyform wire ropes are sold separately
• Not for use with galvanized wire ropes due to galvanic action
